read()方法從檔案讀取大小最多位元組。如果讀取可得到位元組大小之前命中EOF，則它唯讀取可用的位元組。

語法

以下是 read()方法的語法 -

fileObject.read( size );

引數

size -- 這是從檔案中讀取的位元組數。

返回值

此方法返回讀取的位元組數的字串形式

Assuming that 'foo.txt' file contains following text:

This is 1st line
This is 2nd line
This is 3rd line
This is 4th line
This is 5th line

# Open a file
fo = open("foo.txt", "r+")
print ("Name of the file: ", fo.name)


line = fo.read(10)
print ("Read Line: %s" % (line))

# Close opened file
fo.close()
